FiberCover® - Synthetic Foaming Agent for Removing Asbestos

FiberCover® - Synthetic Foaming Agent for Removing Asbestos

Type of measure: Technical

What is FiberCover?

FiberCover® has been created to encase the asbestos origin during remediation with the aim of reducing or halting the dissemination of fibers into the air.

How does it work?

FiberCover® comprises synthetic foaming agents, with a primary purpose of suppressing the release of airborne dust and fiber particles by entrapping them within the foaming agent upon application.

With the foam effectively capturing the dust particles, the risk of exposure to dust and fiber emissions is reduced entirely when applied correctly.

The Dutch Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment have now claimed this product to be a safe working method for the removal of various bonded asbestos-containing applications.
