The European Commission have created a guide that offers tangible instances aimed at minimizing workers’ contact with risky medicinal products throughout various stages of their lifecycle: manufacturing, transportation, storage, preparation, administration to both human and animal patients, and waste management.

This advisory, while not mandatory, furnishes a diverse array of practical suggestions designed for workers, employers, public authorities, and safety professionals to support their efforts in safeguarding workers against hazardous medicinal products.
