In 2014, the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) launched the No Time to Lose campaign aimed to get the causes of occupational cancer more widely understood and help businesses take action. The campaign emphasizes key workplace carcinogens such as diesel engine exhaust fumes, respirable crystalline silica, asbestos, and solar radiation. IOSH developed content and messaging aimed at their target audiences to inform them about occupational cancer and promote better management of carcinogenic exposures. The campaign specifically targets safety and health professionals, businesses (including employers and workers), policy-makers, and the general public.
