How to use this Control Guidance Sheet
The content of this Control Guidance Sheet (CGS) is created by professionals to help you create a CGS tailored to your organization and employees. When creating your CGS, it’s important to make it as specific as possible to match your shop floor situation.
Different sectors may have different carcinogens, so the guidance should be customized accordingly. To get started, you can download our template here, which will allow you to copy relevant text (with the button) from this CGS and create a printable version.
We can assist you in identifying these carcinogens for your sector and suggest possible measures using the S.T.O.P. principle, which you can explore here.
Remember, a CGS should be concise and should not exceed 3 pages. To make your CGS effective:
- Use short sentences.
- Write in clear, affirmative language.
- Apply an imperative writing style.
- Opt for a larger font size.
For more ideas, you can browse our database of CGS examples here.
