EU‑OSHA Dangerous Substances e‑tool

Type of measure: Organizational, Substitution

The EU‑OSHA Dangerous Substances e‑tool is an interactive online tool that helps employers and occupational safety and health professionals identify and reduce risks from dangerous substances and chemical products in the workplace.

The tool guides users through a short “Quick Start” questionnaire (7 questions) or a more detailed assessment (36 questions) to review current practices related to chemical safety. Based on the user’s responses, it provides tailored, workplace‑specific advice, good practice measures, and recommendations to comply with relevant rules and regulations.

After completing the full assessment, users can generate a downloadable report (“My Chemical Guide”) including a to‑do checklist and practical guidance to help reduce exposure and prevent health risks from hazardous substances, including carcinogens.
